Battle Axes offers budget-friendly corporate events and team-building activities in Waxahachie and Midlothian, Texas, for small businesses, large companies and everything in between. Private event options include axe throwing, games and space to eat, socialize, celebrate or hold a company meeting. For businesses looking to keep costs down, our Thursday Buyout Specials start at $700 for a private space in Midlothian and $850 for a full-venue buyout in Waxahachie.

We can accommodate everything from smaller team outings to large company events. Our Midlothian half venue accommodates up to 35 guests, the Waxahachie full venue comfortably accommodates approximately 85 guests, and the Midlothian full venue comfortably accommodates approximately 150 guests.

Yes. Outside catering is welcome for venue buyouts at Battle Axes. We don't require you to use a preferred caterer, giving your company the flexibility to choose food that works for your team and budget.
Our staff can assist with maintaining the buffet area, and cleanup is handled by Battle Axes. If you need chafer racks or burners, just give us at least two days' notice.

Outside beverages and alcohol are not permitted, but drinks can easily be included in your corporate event. Battle Axes offers non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine and seltzers, with cocktails, canned cocktails and mead available at our Waxahachie location.
Pre-purchased drink tickets are also available, making it easier to set a beverage budget for your team ahead of time.

Corporate events are handled through invoicing, making it easy for your company or event coordinator to manage payment. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and time.
A service and insurance fee applies to private event bookings. Your quote will outline your venue rental, selected options and applicable fees so you know what to expect before booking.

Your event is more than just reserved throwing lanes. Depending on your event and location, your group can enjoy private event space, dedicated coaching, axe throwing, additional games and space to eat, socialize or celebrate.
We'll also help with event flow, and venue buyouts include cleanup so the person who planned the company event can actually enjoy it too.

There's plenty to do even if someone doesn't want to throw. Depending on the location, your team can enjoy additional activities such as cornhole, darts, pop darts and other games, along with space to eat, socialize and hang out.
Corporate groups can also use TVs for meetings, presentations, company messaging, employee recognition or branding, making it easy to combine a meeting or presentation with a team-building experience.

Not at all. No previous axe-throwing experience is necessary. Our staff provides instruction and supports your group throughout the event, so beginners can participate right alongside experienced throwers.
