  • Do I need to be good to throw league?

    Nope! League is where you get good. We all sucked in the beginning. Seriously. 


    You will get all the training you need when you start! Battle Axes is home to 3 qualifying throwers for the World Axe Throwing League Championships

  • What if I can't make it every week?

    No worries! You can make up the games you miss the next time you are able to come.


    All 28 games must be played by the end of week 7. Don't fret, we always have a make-up week. 


    The week 8 tournament is optional.

  • Why should I join league?

    Joining a league is a great way to relieve stress, entertain yourself, gain a sense of achievement, and an awesome way to make new friends. 

  • Can I get a refund?

    The $45 deposit is non-refundable. 


    After completion of week 1, full payment is expected and will be collected.



  • What is the difference in Regular league and Marathons?

    Both seasons have a total of 28 games per person. 


    Regular season leagues are 8 weeks long with players throwing 4 games per week. Weeks 1-7 players throw 4 games. Week 8 is the tournament.


    Marathon leagues are 1 day long, with all 28 games played. 

  • How long do Marathon leagues last?

    Well... that depends. The more participants the longer it last. This could be anywhere from 3-8 hours. 


    The quickest Marathon league disciplines are Big Axe and Duals. 

  • Why do Marathon leagues cost full price at sign up?

    Unlike regular season leagues, Marathon leagues only last one day. You may not come back (but you probably will because you'll love it). 

  • Why should I try a Marathon league?

    Training and Practice: Marathon Leagues are a great way to work on building muscle memory and unlocking your abilities to achieve the perfect game.

    There are a lot of great throwers that come to Battle Axes in Midlothian to throw axes and knives in Marathon Leagues. This gives you the opportunity to throw and learn with the best.
